We are gearing up for the Chick-fil-A Dash 4 Diabetes on Monday, September 3rd. One again the CFA Dash will be held at Millbrook High School and the Third Battle of Winchester! The 4 Miler will begin at 8am with the 1 Miler beginning beginning around 9am. The kid’s 5 and Under 100 Yard Dash will begin immediately after the 1 Miler.
The 4 Miler Entry fee is $22 for SVR Members and $25 for non-members. All Late and Race Day Entry Fees will be $27. Kids’ race fees will be $13 for the Mile Race and $5 for the 100 Yard Dash. All late and Race Day Entry Fees will be $15 for the Mile and $7 for the 100 Yard Dash. Please register by August 13th to have your shirt size guaranteed. Registrations after the 13th will be considered “late” and sizes will not be guaranteed. Long Sleeve Dri-Fit T-Shirts will be guaranteed to the first 225 registrants. These shirts usually run big so please take that into consideration when ordering as we will not be able to swap sizes.
Registration and packet pick-up will be from 6:45-7:45 at the MHS Football Stadium. Registration will stay open until 8:45 for children’s races.
For the 4 Mile Race – Awards will be given to the top three men and women overall, and first place male and female masters (40 and over). In addition awards will also be given to the top two men and women in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. In lieu of a third place age group prize, we will be giving out “random” prizes to other finishers.
For the Kid’s Mile and Dash – Awards will be given to the top two male and female finishers in the following age groups: 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. The 100 Yard Dash will be open to children 5 and under.
