The Shenandoah Valley’s most scenic road race returns as a live event in 2022! The 24th annual Greasy-Gooney 10K takes place on Saturday 22 October 2022 in Browntown, about eight miles south of Front Royal. Held at the peak of the fall foliage season, our somewhat challenging 6.2 mile road race loops through the foothills of the Blue Ridge, treating runners to gorgeous views of the mountains and countryside. We’ll have awards for the top three overall and for the top three in mostly five-year age groups. Entry fees are $30 early and $40 race day with our race premium (an embroidered knit hat) or $24 early/$34 race day without a premium; members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners get a $2 discount. All proceeds will be donated to the Browntown Community Center Association and the Humane Society of Warren County. Runners of all abilities are welcome to participate!
