Register now for the inaugural running of the Allegany County Animal Shelter Howard’s 25K Run! Come to the mountains of Western Maryland to experience a 15 mile race on one of Maryland’s greatest natural resources, the Great Allegany Passage. The course is a scenic 25K point to point journey from Frostburg to Cumberland along a rail trail. Cash prizes will be awarded to top male and female runners, as well as honors for masters and age group winners.

The race is set for August 16th, 2015 for 8 a.m. Registration for the run is open through August 15 with both online options through raceit.com and mail-in applications available.

Howard’s 25K Run is one of the newest additions to the Queen City Striders 2015 calendar and is co-directed by Ray Hunt, Sharon Ellsworth & Chad Merrill.
