The 5th annual Run for the Ribbon 5.9K is quickly approaching! The race will be held at Chet Hobert Park in Berryville, Virginia (at the Clarke County pool) on Saturday, September 26th at 8 am. The course is partially shaded, flat, and fast, so running a PR is never out of the question! The race is sure to be a fun time for runners, walkers, parents, and kids alike. Pre-registration is available online now and costs $11 for SVR members (https://runsignup.com/Race/VA/Berryville/RunfortheRibbonRace). Paper registration forms can be found on the SVR website and should be postmarked by September 14th. A kids’ 0.59K race for children 10 and under will be held at the conclusion of the main race and costs $5. Registration for the kids’ race is also online or can be mailed in. As always, all of the money is donated directly to ZERO: the End of Prostate Cancer. Since 2011, we have raised over $15,000, bringing ZERO that much closer to finding a cure for Prostate Cancer! As this is the race’s 5th year, we have a few special surprises in store, so don’t miss out on the fun! Don’t forget to sign up early to guarantee a t-shirt and we can’t wait to see you on September 26th!
