To make quality end-of-life care available to individuals and families facing serious illness, and to support anyone in our community affected by death, dying, and loss.

Proceeds from The Butterfly 5K/10K will benefit the Blue Ridge Hospice Patient Care Fund and support charity care.
Blue Ridge Hospice cares for everyone eligible for end-of-life care, regardless of their financial ability. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our community, sponsors, and race participants like YOU!
In 2015, charity care for patients exceeded $180,000 You can help provide this community need… run, walk, pledge a runner, or sponsor the event!
THIS YEAR YOU HAVE A CHOICE!
Walk or run a certified 5K loop race, on gravel and paved roads, through and around the beautiful Arboretum and Blandy Farm grounds.
For longer distance runners, choose the 10K course! This scenic run meanders from Blandy Farm in and around Long Branch Plantation.
