SVR Race Sponsorship

SVR works with organizations in the community by helping to sponsor a race. Race sponsorship indicates that SVR members are actively involved in the race and race planning. We currently are not accepting any applications for sponsorship; however, we would be happy to consult about how to put on a race. Please contact Race Consultant Nancy Specht with any questions. For general information on race directing and/or how to put on a race in your community, check out the information below.

SVR receives numerous requests to help with local races. Unfortunately, we are not able to help or sponsor everyone. We sponsor more than 30 races a year, including many that benefit local and national charities. Directing a race and raising money for a worthy charity is rewarding but very time-consuming, demanding months of advance preparation.

Below, please find links that will help you understand the planning needed to pull off a successful, safe, and enjoyable running event.

1.
