Come on out to Warren County, Virginia (an hour west of the DC metropolitan area) for the Shenandoah Valley’s most scenic road race! The 21st running of the Greasy-Gooney 10K will take place at 9:00 AM on Saturday 26 October 2019 in Browntown, about eight miles south of Front Royal.
Held at the peak of the fall foliage season, our somewhat challenging 6.2 mile road course loops through the foothills of the Blue Ridge, treating runners to gorgeous views of the mountains and countryside.
We’ll have awards for the top three overall and for the top three in mostly five-year age groups.
Entry fees are $20 early and $25 race day with our race premium (a lightweight green & white running cap) or $14 early/$19 race day without a premium, plus we offer a $2 discount to members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners or a $1 discount to members of many VA/MD/DC running clubs.
