THE 2020 LIBERTY 5K & KIDS MILE WILL BE VIRTUAL
Due to CDC guidelines and our local government recommendations, The 2020 Liberty 5k & Kids Mile presented by SPENCE SELLS HOMES has been converted into a virtual race. This difficult decision was made to protect participants, volunteers and our community.
Keep an eye on your email and on the Liberty 5k Facebook Page or Shenandoah Valley Runners Facebook Page for any updates.
ABOUT THE LIBERTY 5K & KIDS MILE
2020 is the 23rd Annual Running of the Liberty 5k and Kids Mile races. The race benefits the Winchester Parks and Recreation Department, Shenandoah Valley Runners and The Lucas Fund.
START TIME: You can run your 5k or Kids Mile anytime between Friday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 5th.
LOCATION: Anywhere! Choose your own start and finish line anywhere that is safe to run. Please take proper precautions to maintain social distance and to be careful with traffic and terrain.
RESULTS: Once you’ve completed your race, you’ll be able to post your time as well as see how your friends/family members did! You will receive instructions once you are registered.
RACE SHIRTS: Participants in the 5k and Kids Mile will receive a technical tee shirt. Shirts will be available for pickup at the War Memorial Building in Jim Barnett Park on specified dates and times or can be mailed to you for an additional cost.
