The Chick-fil-A Family Run Fest will take place on October 30, 2021 at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley Trails. Our race will benefit Children’s National Hospital. Children’s National Health System is the only hospital in the Washington, DC, area with a rapid air and ground transport system dedicated exclusively for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Children’s National highly specialized pediatric and neonatal transport team transports more than 5,000 neonates and children each year.
The CFA Family Run Fest will feature a 5k, 2 Mile Walk, Kid’s Mile, and 100 Yard Dash. Something for the whole family!
All races will begin at the Main building of the MSV.
5k begins at 8:30 am
2 Mile walk begins at 8:40
Kid’s Mile begins at 9:20/9:30
Dash begins at 9:40/9:50
Awards ceremony directly after the Dash
Packet pick up/registration will begin at 7:15 am on the patio of the MSV.
Included in race entry fee will be race t-shirt. Shirts are guaranteed to the first 150 registrants.
Awards will be given to:
5K
Top three men and women overall
First place male and female masters (40 and over)
Top two men and women in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over
1 Mile
Top two male and female finishers in the following age groups: 5 and under, 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12.
All finishers will receive a metal of completion.
100 Yard Dash will be open to children 5 and under. Runners will receive a Chick-fil-A Goodie Bag and Ribbon.
